Phoenix Spree Deutschland named Property Specialist at the Citywire Investment Trust Awards 2019
Phoenix Spree Deutschland, the UK listed investment company specialising in Berlin residential real estate, is pleased to have been awarded Property Specialistof the year at the 2019 Citywire Investment Trust Awards.
Nominees in the Property Specialist category included investment companies and real estate investment trusts from some of the highest growth property sectors: Secure Income Reit (last year’s winner), Primary Health Properties, Tritax Big Box Reit and GCP Student Living.
Phoenix Spree was recognised for having added the most value for investors with 115% growth in net asset value (NAV) over the past three years.
The awards were judged by John Newlands, of Newlands Research (and formerly Head of Investment Companies Research at Brewin Dolphin); Ewan Lovett-Turner, Head of Investment Companies research at Numis and Genevra Banszky von Ambroz, Fund Manager at Smith & Williamson.
We are delighted to be recognised by Citywire, and the distinguished judges, as Property Specialist of the year. This award reflects the progress we have made since listing the Fund in 2015 in delivering value to shareholders through the active asset management of our portfolio. Despite the uncertainty caused by the proposed rent controls, we are confident we can continue to offer attractive and sustainable value to shareholders.
